Based in Port Huron, Michigan, ImmediPay's founders have 30 years experience administering self-funded plans for Midwest employers. They and their clients grew increasingly frustrated as healthcare claim costs became unaffordable because many large providers and insurance companies "negotiated" steady price increases that were simply passed along to employers. The actual buyers of healthcare services, employees and their families, had very little cost or quality data to make informed decisions when choosing providers and no ability to negotiate prices with providers.
Great deals do exist from efficient, high quality providers; patients just need help finding them. Also, more providers would offer discounted pricing if patients showed up with information and incentives to request better pricing. Our technology and our team are helping our members do just that.
